Stacy Coyne Wright has worked in arts & culture for nearly 20 years. Like Margo Jones, Stacy doesn’t believe in business as usual.
As Director of Marketing & Press at the Young Vic, she pioneered the Lucky Dip ticket scheme to make sure every performance wasn’t just sold out, it was 100% full.
As Director of Marketing at TodayTix, she created London Theatre Week and launched 3 new Australian markets for the global entertainment app.
In these and other Marketing Director roles at the Almeida, Sonia Friedman Productions, Backyard Cinema and 59 Productions, she has led campaigns for the most talented producers, directors, writers, creatives and companies making work today.
Her West End & Broadway campaigns include Every Brilliant Thing, PADDINGTON The Musical, Stereophonic, Mrs Warren’s Profession, Mean Girls The Musical, The Years, Oedipus, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, A Mirror, The Hills of California, To Kill A Mockingbird, A View from the Bridge, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, The Scottsboro Boys.
Like Margo Jones, Stacy believes that a healthy ecosystem of regional, subsidised and commercial productions is vital to a thriving arts & culture sector.
She is deeply proud of her work with subsidised venue & touring companies including campaigns for: Fun Home, The Jungle, The Inheritance, Yerma, A Streetcar Named Desire, Best of Enemies, Jitney, nowhere, There’s A Bear On My Chair.
And strategy, brand, sales and campaigns for Alexander Whitley Dance Company, Belarus Free Theatre, Boston Ballet, Bush Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, Chicago Opera Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, City of London Sinfonietta, Eleanor Lloyd Productions, English PEN, Fuel, Headlong, London Irish Centre, & Second Half Productions.
Stacy is honoured to be a trustee of Kiln Theatre. She studied at Goldsmiths, where she earned a MA with distinction in Arts Administration & Cultural Policy, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar & James Scholar.
